Recently, Baoguang held a lean proposal commendation sharing session, commended and rewarded 281 proposals in 2019, and conducted a phased summary and exchange of the lean proposals for the first half of 2020. Our General Manager Mr.Hu, general manager assistant, outstanding proposal representatives of labor union, lean office and various units participated in the commendation, sharing and exchange session.
General Manager Mr.Hu shared the lean perception of color management to reduce cognitive burden and control complexity. He emphasized to establish positive values, improve self-independent thinking ability, strengthen self-learning ability, and strengthen time control ability.
At the same time, it is pointed out that all employees are hoped to learn from the commended comrades, inspire the spirit of self-innovation, pay attention to work details, care about the company's development, and devote themselves to Baoguang with the sense of responsibility, the enterprising spirit of innovation and the better work attitude.
The Lean Office, together with the labor union, organized various units to conduct continuous improvement proposal collection activities, focusing on exploring opportunities for improvement in each link of manufacturing and functional units in order to enhance the company's self-improvement atmosphere for all employees, and help to improve quality and efficiency. By the end of 2019, after the review of the Lean Office, 281 Lean proposals were awarded, including 26 excellent proposals, 85 good proposals, and 170 proposal awards.
At the commendation session, the Lean Office reported the lean proposal work in the first five months of 2020. From January to May, 541 lean improvement proposals from various departments were received, and 245 have been implemented. Compared with 2019, both the quantity and quality of declarations have been improved.
Through the continuous development of lean proposal improvement work, on the one hand, Baoguang has effectively reduced costs, increased efficiency, improved quality, ensured safety, and improved the operating environment; on the other hand, it has promoted communication and interaction between various departments and formed mutual learning atmosphere. Representatives of various departments and production units at the session discussed their understanding and knowledge on the improvement and implementation of proposal from the aspects of technology research & development, production material supply, equipment maintenance support, product sales, and how to solve practical problems at the production site.
